Cycling Non-Profit Doubles Participation and Fundraising Goals
THE CHALLENGE
A non-profit organization focusing on cycling for a cause as its key fundraising effort came to Claritas with the goal of increasing awareness about their 501 (c)(3) and driving new riders for their upcoming events.
HOW WE DID IT
After conducting a Claritas PRIZM® Premier analysis against 6K former riders, Claritas built a consumer profile of key segments featuring insights about their affinity for cycling and propensity to donate to a cause. Additionally, Claritas supplied distribution maps for each city where a ride was scheduled to take place, including where and how many of the non-profit’s best look-a-like prospects reside, their media touch point usage, and actionable insights for campaign messaging.
With the first event scheduled to take place in less than 8 weeks, Claritas immediately went into action building a custom market-level audience to be used in an intensive 45-day campaign of email, social and display ads. Claritas deployed and measured the multichannel campaign, including the delivery of a direct mail list as an overlay.
Despite the tight turnaround time, the campaign was a complete success, and the non-profit will continue to work with Claritas as they build awareness among riders.
